2019 Port

Covid supply issues led to us bottling this wine with an extra year aging in barrel compared to previous releases. All I had available as well were screw cap 750mL bottles and I’m thinking this might have been a lucky disaster! Easier to open and close, an important feature in a wine, and it can stay good for up to a month after opening. That extra year in barrel has given more richness than previous releases and this is a perfect after dinner sipping wine with some dark chocolate or a nice cheese.
