2022 Chardonnay

The Hawk Hill vineyard sits just 4 miles in from the Pacific Ocean and is an incredible site for growing Chardonnay and Pinot noir (an area which we now know as Freestone). I first worked with Hawk Hill fruit in 2001 and have yet to be disappointed with the quality of grapes. Exceptional fruit makes wonderful wines, and the 2022 Chardonnay continues that unbroken line. It has the good acidity, low influence of oak barrels and the signature richness of flavor that makes it a great pairing for seafood and chicken dishes. Will continue to improve for another 3-5 years for those with a good cellar and patience.
